Introduction
This page provides the full text of the Appendices of G. Buccellati’s book When on High the Heavens…, offering both the transcription (both the graphemic transliteration and the phonemic transcription) of the Akkadian texts (according to the sources chosen by the author, put on top of each Appendix) and their English transations (following G. Buccellati’s own translation).
When available, a link (put on the main bolded title of each text) to pictures of transcription from original tablets (autographs) or other cuneiform sources (e.g. C D L I, indicated with siglum P + No.) is displayed (see under Autograph for bibliographic references). Sometimes, links to Museums are offered as well.
For abbreviations used in referring to original cuneiform tablets (and for other abbreviations), see Abbreviations for Assyriology.
The Appendices are here listed in their numerical order, as in the volume.
For the Hebrew text of the Old Testament, we follow that of the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia [BHS] (available on Tanakh Project).
