Within the tight interlacing of the elegiac verse structure, with the cadence of long and short syllabes, we see the diatnt bracing of syntactical elements, shown below by the ↔ sign: elements that are tightly linked syntactially are separted by other elements. Thus the syntactical closure overarches elements that break the nexus.
