The concept of cluster

The cluster concept entails the coordination of websites that share the same goals and a similar structure and are applied to different aspects of the study of a given discipline, in our case, ancient Mesopotamia.
As indicated on the home page, the cluster entiled The Land of the Four River Banks contains six cluster applies strictly: each website follows exactly the same design, and uses the same programs.

Two clusters

The cluster 4banks.net parallels another cluster, cyb-mes.net, which deals with the primary data, in terms of both archaeology and linguistics. Those websites, while similar in their goals and aims, differ in their structure.

A hub of clusters

Together, the two clusters are subsumed under the hub Mesopotamia: Digital Venues, where one will find a presentation of the common aims, in particular the central goal of constructing websites that can make the best use for scholarship of the digital medium, and in particular of browser editions.
